After the life mould making process is complete, the mould is utilized to make a plaster foot model.

From this point forward, this foot model becomes the master pattern for reorders in any style and heel height of last with out calling the customer in for another mould making session. this is only true if the foot model is kept in house. You may find that, many customers will opt to keep their own foot moulds and send them in when they need a new style of last. This will assist in your storage needs for a smaller studio
